Territorial landslide early warning systems (Te-LEWS)

The monitoring is the main link to the second module of the system: the modelling. For instance, the time-dependent information on variables considered relevant for triggering landslide  is the main input to define rainfall thresholds. The following table reports the main characteristics of the thresholds adopted within the Te-LEWSs reviewed herein. Rainfall thresholds: A1 - intensity-duration; A2 - rainfall event-duration; B - antecedent condition; C - others, and more complex thresholds.
